Snyder To RetireNovember 7, 2018

By Brandon Eyerly
PAGE President

John Snyder, CEO of PAGE cooperative, has announced that after 33 years of service he will finally be heading off to a well deserved retirement.

John has assured us that the March 2019 retirement date is not carved in stone, and he will stay with us in any capacity necessary to ensure a smooth transition. This flexibility provides PAGE with an opportunity to seek the most qualified candidates for moving the cooperative forward without an inflexible deadline. We have already begun the process of interviewing some exceptional individuals, and I feel we will have a difficult time narrowing our list to the final candidates. All of that said, we want to have as comprehensive a selection process as possible.

If you know of someone who you feel should be considered, please contact John Snyder or myself directly. We will be sensitive to the confidential nature of the process, and any expression of interest will initially be shared only with our executive committee until the final selection round when we present our top candidates to our full board of directors.

In the meantime please join me in thanking John for his 33 years of service to our cooperative. He has worked tirelessly for our members and has spent his career keeping PAGE responsive to member needs. There is no better evidence of John’s dedication to the cooperative than his willingness to be as flexible as possible while we find his replacement. John has also surrounded himself with the top level senior management team of Steve Schroeder and Marcy Emory, who are committed to helping us navigate this transition efficiently and smoothly.

This is an exciting time for PAGE, and I feel this is the perfect opportunity to build upon our strong foundation while we pursue new initiatives. I look forward to sharing our progress with you as we begin this exciting next chapter.
