PAGE Board Approves Seven New SuppliersMarch 9, 2017

The PAGE Supplier Evaluation and Online/Technology committees meet and review PAGE supplier programs every year. During their last meeting in San Diego, in late January, the committee looked over ten potential programs and ultimately recommended approving seven of them. In February the PAGE Board of Directors approved the following new supplier programs based on the recommendation of the committees. The programs include:

ASK-CRM (Streamlined Office Solutions)
ASK-CRM is an advertising sales software system developed for newspapers by industry veterans. The CRM system is designed to address everything an account executive needs to develop a comprehensive multi-product proposal that meets an advertiser's needs. Proposals are automatically integrated into the pipeline and goals tracking process, making sales more efficient and fruitful.

EZ Hi Tech International
EZ Hi Tech provides service and support for Kodak/Creo, Screen, Fuji, Agfa and Heidelberg CtP equipment. They also offer custom designed laser head replacements for Trendsetter and Magnus CtP devices. EZ Hi Tech can assist with workflow and G7/Gracol certified color management training. EZ Hi Tech has 18 service engineers strategically located around the country.

Goss (AIP)
American Industrial Partners (AIP) includes a broad portfolio of companies including Goss and Presstek. Presstek, formerly Anocoil, had already been working with PAGE but Goss had not. As most probably know, Goss is a leading supplier of offset web presses and packaging equipment. Goss has a large parts inventory as well as service for their equipment. The new PAGE program will allow members access to press and packaging parts at PAGE-only pricing. Goss is also offering PAGE members a complementary press folder audit in 2017.

Mutual Insurance Company
Mutual Insurance Company is one of the largest media liability insurance providers in North America providing coverage to newspaper, television, radio, and other media organizations. Mutual's libel insurance policy continues to be the leading policy form in the industry, providing the most complete protection for today's evolving media organizations.

Powerhouse Technology Group

In addition to reviewing ten potential suppliers, the committee reviewed six other current supplier programs including: Calkins Digital, Central Ink, Dash2, Kodak, Southern Lithoplate’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI) program as well as SLP’s plate, equipment and service programs.
